Saturday, Jan 18, 2025. Program: 9 am. Speaker: Educator and our Field programs Manager, Patrick Carney, Pickering Creek Audubon Center will be sharing some of the ways Pickering Creek is incorporating participatory science about birds into its educational and outreach programs as well as providing an update on Audubon's Climate Watch findings. Meet at Walgreen’s parking lot in Denton at 8 am to carpool, or meet at 9:30 am at the Refuge headquarters.

Presenter: Dan Small, Natural Lands Project Coordinator, Washington College Center for Environment & Society will present “The Natural Lands Project and Northern Bobwhite - Build it and they will come”. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 - Special informational meeting. The Caroline County Bird Club and Town of Denton invite you to a public meeting to learn about Bird City Maryland on Wednesday, April 30 at the Wharves of Choptank Visitor & Heritage Center, 3 Crouse Park Lane, Denton, MD from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

Saturday, May 17, 2025. Program. 9 am. AMP Students nesting bird house presentation, followed by a presentation from Denton Girl Scout Danielle Ridgell. Members of Delmarva Wild Ones will join us to discuss how to partner with the Town of Denton officials & staff to make Denton a Maryland Bird City.
