Caroline County Bird Club's 2019 Big Sit! will be on October 13




Please join us on Sunday, October 13, 2019 for  Caroline County Bird Club's Big Sit!


Location: Adkins Arboretum’s Wetlands Overlook near the Visitors Center. Will run from early morning to early evening for some owling. 

Dress for the weather, bring binoculars if you have them. You might want to bring a chair, food and something to drink.  Come for as long as you can.  All level of birding experience welcome!

Saturday, September 7, 2019.  Join Wayne Bell on a Bird Migration Walk for Adkins Arboretum.  An Adkins Arboretum event.  Free for Adkins Arboretum members with a $5 admission fee for non-members.  8 am – 10 am .  Meet in the Arboretum parking lot at 8 am.

Thursday, September 19, 2019.  Program. Celebration of Bill Scudder’s 60 years of contributions to Caroline County Bird Club and the Maryland Ornithological Society.
7:30 PM, Caroline County Public Library, 100 Market St., Denton.

Caroline County Bird Club bird trip Sunday, May 5

Sunday, May 5 – Bird Trip to Killens Pond State Park.  Meet at the Visitor’s Center at 8 am.  There is an $8 entrance fee per car, so car-pooling is advised.
Killens Pond State Park is located at 5025 Killens Pond Road, Felton, DE 19943.

Saturday, April 6– Project Clean Stream clean-up day at Pelot Sanctuary. Meet at the Sanctuary 9 am. Wear proper clothing and work gloves and if you can, bring some trash bags. Sanctuary information and directions:https://mdbirds.org/conservation/refuges-sanctuaries/pelot/
